Proudly announce our new vision, "Chiba University Aspirations"!
The university's vision is the med-and-long term strategic plan that the president proposes with the consideration of the social role of the university. In 2015, the former president had formulated the vision for 2015 to 2021. Since then, Chiba University had operated the university based on the vision. As 2021 is the year when I take over the president's position, I develop the new vision of Chiba University, "Chiba University Aspirations." I set four categories: World Leading Research, Global Education, Holistic Governance, and Social Engagement, and the goals in each category. All the faculty and staff will work together to realize these goals.
