Visit from Belmont University

On 3rd April 2025, a delegation from Belmont University visited Chiba University. Prof. Dr. Erich Baker, Vice-Provost of Belmont University, and Dr. Daniel Salcedo, Executive Director of Center for Interprofessional Engagement & Simulation, had a discussion with Prof. Koutaro Yokote, President of Chiba University, Hiroaki Ozawa, Executive Vice President, and our faculties.
Belmont University is known for its dedication to interprofessional engagement and cutting-edge simulation training. Besides, Dr. Salcedo used to work at the Graduate School of Medicine, Chiba University as a Project Professor.
During the visit, they also had meetings with Deans and faculties of the School of Medicine, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and School of Nursing. This visit was a meaningful opportunity for both universities to discuss about the possibility of creating new Exchange Program and the future cooperation.
