On December 2, 2025, President Koutaro Yokote, Prof. Shoichi Ito, Graduate School of Medicine, Prof. Sumie Ikezaki, Graduate School of Nursing, Associate Prof. Kieko Iida, Graduate School of Nursing, and other staff members visited Belmont University (Nashville, USA). In the presence of Belmont University President L. Gregory Jones and other Vice Presidents and relevant faculty and staff, a signing ceremony for an academic and student exchange agreement between the two universities was held.

Belmont University is known for its cutting-edge simulation training in medical education, as well as its comprehensive healthcare education programs and commitment to interdisciplinary learning.

On December 3, a meeting was held between the College of Nursing at Belmont University and the School of Nursing at Chiba University to discuss future exchanges, and it was agreed that teams from both universities’ health-related faculties would work together to plan and advance initiatives such as the IPE short-term simulation program.

Focusing on medical faculties such as medicine, pharmacy, and nursing, further development in exchanges between the two universities is expected.
