The Chiba University International House

  The Chiba University International House was established to provide foreign students and researchers with accommodation and other facilities.

  The International House consists of five buildings (A, B, C, D, and E) which can house up to 218 overseas students and 18 foreign researchers.

  The communal area in C building includes a meeting room, a foreign student conference room and laundry rooms. Also, each of the personal units is furnished with hot-water, an air-conditioner, sink, refrigerator, unit-bath and bed as well as other furnishings.

  The International House is located about 10-minutes by foot from the JR Inage Station, one train stop away from the University's Nishi-Chiba campus. The residents of the International House may enjoy the many conveniences of an urban neighborhood, close to Inage station where department stores, restaurants, parks and sports facilities of all kinds can be found.

Application for Admission to Chiba University International House

  Foreign students can apply for admission in January and July every year under the application procedure(pdf).
  Students who wish to apply should submit the following documents during the application period: Application for Admission to Chiba University International House(pdf),Financial Declaration(pdf).
  Students are also required to submit Notification of Arrival(pdf) upon moving in and Notification of Departure(pdf) upon leaving Chiba University International House.
