In order to be successful in such education, promising applicants are expected to demonstrate such basic skills, rather than crammed knowledge, as reading ability, quantitative analytical skills, logical reasoning ability from the observed facts, and domestic and foreign language proficiency to express and communicate their worked-out conclusions. More specifically,
Department of Law strives to locate those applicants who can think creatively and logically, and are ready to exercise their high ethical integrity and compassion to face and tackle with the social realities;
Department of Economics seeks enthusiastic applicants who are willing to take the initiative in discovering, analyzing and solving economic problems on efficiency and justice arising in ever changing societies;
Department of Policy Studies looks for strongly motivated applicants who have keen interests in complex modern societies, and endeavor to discover and practice remedies for social diseases in such societies.
